We had a blast photographing Aimee and Tom’s big day a couple of weeks ago!  The wedding was at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Council Bluffs, IA.  For the reception it took place at The Great Hall in Boystown, Omaha, NE.  I’ve never been there before and it’s a great place.

The day was full of lots of great emotions and moments!  Aimee and Tom  both looked great and all their guests had a wonderful time!  It was a true pleasure covering this wedding!

Here are a few highlights from the day!

Aimee’s beautiful dress!

Here they are…

Here comes the guys…

The wedding…

Lots of bubbles…

Jump!!!  I never understood how you do that with a wedding dress on.  The guys have it easy.

Her ring…

First dance… Very neat!

I thought this was a neat idea with candles on every table.

Congrats again Aimee and Tom!

Check this out for a different Honeymoon!

A night below the surface of the Indian Ocean would have to rank as the number one night to remember, and the romantic experience comes with a complimentary champagne breakfast the following morning.

My first time at the Indy 500. I’ve followed the race since the early 70’s and have always wanted to go. This year I just made it happen and it was great. Now I want to go every year.

Here are a few pics taken mostly from my seat. This was the green flag of the start of the race. Movie Star Jack Nicholson got the honors of starting the race. He is the one in the blue shirt and everyone is pointing the camera at him.

Pace Car was 2011 Chevrolet Camaro.
After the National Anthem was the fly over.
NASCAR Richard Petty “The King” was on the track right before the race. The guy in the hat, sun glasses and white shirt.
Jim Nabors (Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.) singing Back Home Again in Indiana. This has been a tradition at Indianapolis 500 for the last 64 years.
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. This is Mari Hulman-George who says this now made famous by her father. I think her father owned the speedway.

Also in this photo is Jim Nabors and Florence Henderson (Brady Bunch Mom) who sang “God Bless America”

The winner!!! Target Car #10 Dario Franchitti.

*2nd time winner
*From Scotland and lives in Nashville, TN
*Married to actress Ashley Judd
*Won 2.75 million for first place
This is Danica Patrick and her Go Daddy.com car. My seat was across from her pit area. She was Booed many times by the crowd. I heard it was because earlier in the week she was yelling at her pit crew team and she had her mic on when doing so. Everyone heard it. Probably one of the best woman drivers. Every year there seems to have more woman in the Indy 500.

These drivers are crazy and fearless if you ask me. Seeing them go over 200 mph is amazing.

I shot Madison and Jay’s wedding a couple of weeks ago and it was truly an unforgettable event! There were tons of gorgeous details EVERYWHERE and a ton of fun to photograph!  We started off at Lynn’s Hair Lounge & Spa.  The wedding was at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church and onto the DC Centre for the reception.

Here are just a few highlights from the day…

I had the chance to photograph Holly and Ty’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. The wedding was at the newly remodeled Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Omaha.  It’s so beautiful and I always enjoy doing weddings there.  The reception was at the German American Society.  Rick Keith of Complete Music did an excellent job making sure that everyone had a great time!!  Here are a few of my favorites from the day…

Sacred Heart and their rings!

Meet the bride and groom!  A really fun couple.

Father Tom reading a letter that Ty wrote about Holly.

All smiles for sure.

Here is the gang!

We went to Regency Lake for a few photos between the wedding and reception.

Holly is a little bit of a Iowa Hawkeye fan.  Did you notice her wedding colors?

Thank you so much Holly and Ty!  What a great day for you both…
